Which body approves which course is shown on each course page. Why train with us
Why we exist
After the Hackitt review, the question changed. It's no longer enough to say someone has been on a course. The Building Safety Act asks whether the people doing the work have the skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours for it, and whether anyone checked.
We built UK Fire Safety Training around that question. Every course teaches to the job, every course is assessed, and every certificate can be checked online by a client, principal contractor or insurer.

A word from our managing director
Before I inspected fire doors, I was a teacher. That taught me you can't build real skill without the knowledge behind it, and that's how we train.
The law now expects more of all of us. People working on buildings must have the skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours to do the job properly, and the companies that appoint them must be able to show it. Our courses are built to help you evidence exactly that.
Our trainers have done the job themselves, and they'll tell you when you've got it wrong. We care about the quality of what we teach and how we teach it, and about helping you reach that standard in your own work.
If we can help you raise the bar, we'd be glad to. Ring us on 01902 931 101.
