Accessibility statement

How accessible this website is, what we're still improving, and how to get help.

This policy has not been approved yet

The wording on this page is a draft and must be reviewed before the site takes real bookings.

Our aim

Everyone who installs, inspects, services or designs fire safety should be able to use this website and our courses. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

What we've built in

  • You can get around the site with a keyboard alone
  • Pages have proper headings, labelled forms and image descriptions for screen readers
  • Course films have captions and a written transcript
  • Animation stops if you switch on "reduce motion" on your device

Known limits

  • Card payments happen on Stripe's own page, which Stripe makes accessible, not us.
  • Certificates and invoices are PDFs. If you need one in another format, ask and we'll send it.

If you find anything else that gets in your way, tell us.

Practical courses

Tell us when you book about anything that affects how you take part, such as mobility, hearing, sight, dyslexia or a health condition. We'll talk it through and make reasonable adjustments, for example to the venue, the materials or how the assessment is run.

Getting help or reporting a problem

Email us at info@ukfiresafetytraining.com, ring us on 01902 931 101, Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00, or use our contact form. Tell us the page and what went wrong. If you need information in a different format, such as large print or a document a screen reader can read, we'll provide it.

How we test

We test every public page with automated accessibility checks, and we review this statement whenever the site changes significantly.

This statement was prepared on 20 October 2026.
