How you're assessed, and what you get

Tasks and checks in every lesson, then an online assessment at the end. 80% to pass.

Shows the learner passed the Fire Marshal Training assessment. Your employer still appoints marshals and briefs them on their own building and plan.

Every certificate has a unique reference that anyone can check online. Certificates record what you completed or attended with us. They are not a regulated qualification and do not by themselves confirm competence for a particular role. Under the Building Safety Act, competence is skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours. This online course helps you evidence knowledge. Skills are evidenced on a practical course, where you're assessed in person. Experience and behaviours come from your work.

Questions about this course

Yes. Choose the number of places at checkout. After payment you can send each person a secure invitation from your account. You can see whether an invitation has been accepted, but not the learner's personal progress or results.

Your certificate states your name, the course, the date you completed it, a unique reference and what you achieved, for example completion, attendance or passing an assessment. Certificates record training completed; they are not a regulated qualification and do not on their own demonstrate competence for a particular role.
